All chargers can be integrated with payment gateways through third-party software that utilizes OCPP, available on a subscription basis. Some communities charge customers based on the duration of use, depending on the client’s tariff structure. With the third-party billing solution, clients can link their bank accounts to the app for direct crediting of the charging fees, or transactions can be managed using personalized RFID cards (at the front desk) or the app, depending on your preference.
Tariff Rates: The tariff rates depend on the client and there are two modes of authentication for the chargers:
1. RFID: This method requires manual top-up, with the charging session being started and stopped using the RFID card.
2. App: A QR code will be affixed to the charger, allowing customers to scan, top up their wallet and start the charging session automatically. At the end of the session, the tariff amount will be deducted from the wallet and credited to the client’s bank account. Any remaining balance can be used for future sessions.
Server Connections: Chargers can be connected either to a local server within the charger itself or to a backend server for real-time monitoring through Charge Point Management Software. Connections to the client’s server are also possible.
